The great Joni Mitchell performs with Brandi Carlile a moving take on her classic “Both Sides Now” at a surprise appearance at the Newport Folk Festival on July 24, 2022. This was her first public performance in many years due to several health issues (a stroke and post-polio health issues).
Mitchell wrote the song as a young upcoming 23-year-old performer in 1966.
